How to Commission a Piece

Thank you for your interest in commissioning a custom piece of art. Below is an outline of the process to ensure a smooth and collaborative experience:

1. Initial Contact: Please reach out via message, email, or the commission contact form. I will respond within 48 hours to confirm the details of your request.
2. Details Needed: To get started, I will need as much of the following information as possible:
1. Concept description
2. Inspiration pictures
3. Size of the artwork
4. Preferred colors
5. Personalizations or special requests
6. Preferred date of completion
7. Intended recipient or use of the artwork
8. Shipping address and framing/mounting preferences
9. Email for communication
3. Estimate: Once we have a clear concept, I will provide a price estimate that includes taxes, shipping costs, and any other relevant fees.
4. Preliminary Sketch: A $25 fee applies for a concept sketch, which helps us finalize the design before moving forward.
5. Final Quote & Contract: After the preliminary sketch is approved, I will provide a final quote and a written contract outlining deliverables. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot and begin the work. Payments can be made via Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, check, cash, or card via www.samcoopart.com.
6. Progress Updates: Once the deposit has been received and any additional samples/requests have been validated, I will begin work on the artwork. Throughout the creation process, I will send samples of the colors for approval and provide progress pictures/videos as appropriate.
7. Completion & Delivery: Upon completion, I will send photographs and/or a video of the finished piece. Once you confirm satisfaction, the remaining 50% of the payment will be collected, and a shipping notification with a tracking number will be provided.
